Polyethylene wax is a low molecular weight polyethylene homopolymer or copolymer widely used in coatings. The so-called wax means that the polymer is finally in the form of microcrystalline floating cloth in the coating surface plays a similar but more diverse and practical role than paraffin wax.

The main functions of polyethylene wax in solvent coating film are: matting, scratch resistance, wear resistance, polishing resistance, printing resistance, adhesion resistance, precipitation resistance, thixotropy; Good lubricity and workability; Metal pigment localization.
